What your future may hold?
As an Employment Lawyer within EY Law’s Employment Law Practice:
• You will provide high-quality legal advice and assistance in all aspects of employment and social security law, covering both individual employment law and collective labour relations.
• You will be involved in workforce transformation and restructuring projects, social inspections, litigation, and dispute resolution.
• You will work on diverse projects, from large-scale restructurings to individual dismissal cases and represent clients before courts.
• You will support due diligence exercises in corporate transactions.
• You will engage directly with international and national clients addressing the employment and social security law issues they are facing.
• You will collaborate closely with colleagues from EY Law’s Corporate and M&A team, as well as EY’s Tax, and Transaction Advisory to deliver integrated legal solutions.
• You will contribute to business development and help raise the visibility of the Employment Law team within EY Law and across the EY network.
Your skillset
• You hold a Master’s Degree form a Belgian University with minimum 4 years of relevant experience in employment and social security law, preferably in an international environment. An additional Belgian law degree (i.e., a specialization in employment law) or an additional foreign law degree is a plus.
• You have excellent knowledge of Dutch and/or French and English (written and oral)
• You are team-oriented, dedicated and hands-on.
• You are eager to work autonomously in a proactive and stimulating international environment.
• You are a dynamic, client-focused and organized lawyer, with a strong drive for quality and the ability to work in a fast-moving and result-oriented environment.
• You are interested in supporting business development activities to further develop the Employment Law practice.
