Quelles seront tes responsabilités?

En tant que Legal Counsel, tu rejoins l'équipe Affaires juridiques et Traductions et tu rapportes directement à la Responsable du département. Tu es un véritable partenaire juridique pour l'ensemble de l'organisation et tu contribues à des dossiers ayant un impact direct sur la société.

Tes principales responsabilités sont les suivantes :

• Réglementation : tu participes à l'élaboration de nouvelles lois, d'arrêtés royaux et d'autres textes réglementaires relatifs à la protection contre les dangers des rayonnements ionisants ainsi qu'au fonctionnement de l'AFCN. Tu assures le suivi des projets réglementaires de A à Z en concertation avec les experts internes, les parties prenantes externes et les autorités publiques;
• Conseil juridique : tu fournis des avis juridiques aux différents départements (experts techniques, RH, Finance, services d'inspection, etc.) ainsi qu'à des parties externes afin de garantir une application correcte de la réglementation;
• Contrats et marchés publics : tu défends les intérêts contractuels de l’AFCN en rédigeant ou en vérifiant des contrats et des cahiers des charges;
• Contentieux : tu accompagnes l'AFCN dans le cadre de litiges juridiques en collaboration avec des cabinets d'avocats externes;
• Tu participes au développement des procédures internes, des formations et au partage des connaissances juridiques;

Tu te reconnais dans ce profil?

• Un diplôme de Master en droit, obtenu en Belgique; 
• Au moins 5 ans d’expérience en tant que juriste ou avocat, avec une expertise en droit administratif, droit de l’environnement et droit des obligations;
• Tu fais preuve de curiosité et de motivation et tu souhaites développer une expertise approfondie en droit nucléaire;
• Tu t'intéresses aux marchés publics et au droit social;
• Tu maîtrises parfaitement le français ou le néerlandais et tu possèdes une bonne connaissance de l'autre langue nationale. La connaissance de l'anglais est un atout;
• Tu es un véritable team player tout en étant capable de travailler de manière autonome et de prendre des initiatives;

Wat zijn je verantwoordelijkheden?

Als Legal Counsel bij het FANC maak je deel uit van het team Juridische Zaken en Vertalingen en rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan het diensthoofd. Je bent een juridische sparringpartner voor de volledige organisatie en werkt mee aan dossiers met een grote maatschappelijke impact.

Je neemt onder meer volgende verantwoordelijkheden op:

• Regelgeving: Je draagt bij aan het opstellen van nieuwe wetgeving, koninklijke besluiten en andere regelgeving rond bescherming tegen de gevaren van ioniserende stralingen alsook voor de werking van het FANC als organisatie. Je begeleidt regelgevende trajecten van A tot Z en stemt daarbij af met interne experten, externe stakeholders en beleidsmakers.
• Juridisch advies: Je verleent juridisch advies aan collega’s uit verschillende diensten (waaronder technische experten, HR, finance en inspectiediensten), maar ook aan externen om zo een correcte toepassing te garanderen van de regelgeving.
• Contracten en overheidsopdrachten: Je behartigt de contractuele belangen van het FANC door het opstellen of verifiëren van overeenkomsten en bestekken.
• Juridische geschillen: Je ondersteunt het FANC in juridische geschillen en werkt hiervoor samen met externe advocaten.
• Je werkt mee aan de verdere ontwikkeling van interne procedures, opleidingen en juridische kennisdeling.

Herken je jezelf hierin?

• Een Belgisch Masterdiploma in de Rechten; 
• Minstens 5 jaar relevante werkervaring als jurist of advocaat, met expertise in administratief recht, milieurecht en verbintenissenrecht; 
• Je bent leergierig en geëngageerd om je te verdiepen in het nucleair recht, dit te beheersen en te optimaliseren;
• Interesse in overheidsopdrachten en sociale wetgeving;
• Een uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands of Frans, aangevuld met een goede kennis van de andere landstaal. Kennis van het Engels is mooi meegenomen;

What your future may hold

As Legal & Compliance Officer, you will become the legal and compliance anchor of the organisation, managing legal matters across the fund platform, portfolio activities, fundraising processes, and regulatory compliance obligations. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you will work closely with the investment and operations teams while coordinating with external legal advisors and regulatory stakeholders. This is a broad role with a strong compliance focus and plenty of opportunities to shape processes as the organisation continues to grow.

You will:

• Take ownership of the fund's day-to-day compliance activities, ensuring policies, procedures and regulatory obligations are properly drafted and maintained.
• Coordinate AML/KYC processes, investor onboarding and regulatory documentation.
• Support the preparation and follow-up of compliance reporting and act as an important point of contact for regualory institutions and external compliance partners.
• Review, draft and manage a variety of legal documents, including investment-related agreements, shareholder documentation, service agreements, vendor contracts and commercial contracts.
• Coordinate external legal counsel across different jurisdictions and monitor the quality and consistency of legal documentation.
• Support the investment team throughout investment, follow-on and exit processes from a legal and operational perspective.
• Support fund operations by maintaining shareholder records, transaction documentation and corporate governance files.
• Continuously improve legal and compliance processes by identifying opportunities for greater efficiency (like the use of templates), structure and risk management.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into practical internal procedures.
• Grow together with the organisation and contribute to the further professionalisation of the legal & compliance function.

Your skillset

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Law.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm, financial services, an investment fund, compliance or an in-house legal environment.
• Good understanding of contract law, corporate law and compliance principles. Familiarity with fund structures, investor onboarding, AML/KYC, compliance processes, and/or governance matters is a strong asset.
• Exposure to cross-border transactions and international legal environments is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Able to take ownership and accountability in a pragmatic, proactive and solution-oriented way.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced venture capital environment while collaborating closely with colleagues and external advisors.

En tant que Senior Estate Planner, tu joues un rôle essentiel dans l’accompagnement des clients en matière de planification patrimoniale et successorale, avec qui tu développes une relation de confiance durable, souvent intergénérationnelle. En collaboration avec l’équipe des Estate Planners, tu accompagneras les clients francophones du bureau de Bruxelles.

Dans cette fonction stimulante, tes responsabilités comprennent notamment: 

• Tu réalises une analyse détaillée de la situation familiale et patrimoniale des clients. Tu identifies leurs besoins et objectifs spécifiques, constituant ainsi la base d’un conseil patrimonial personnalisé.
• Tu conseilles les clients dans l’élaboration d’une planification patrimoniale & successorale optimale et sur mesure. Wat zijn je verantwoordelijkheden? 

Als Paralegal Consultant word je ingezet op uiteenlopende projecten bij onze klanten. Afhankelijk van de opdracht neem je onder meer volgende verantwoordelijkheden op:

• Corporate housekeeping: ondersteuning bij algemene vergaderingen, bestuursvergaderingen, UBO-registraties en vennootschapsadministratie.

• Litigation support: ondersteuning bij geschillendossiers, documentbeheer en dossieropvolging.
• Juridische administratie: beheer van databanken, archivering, rapportering en juridische documentatie.
• AML/KYC-ondersteuning: uitvoeren van cliëntenonderzoeken, opvolgen van compliance-verplichtingen en administratieve ondersteuning binnen gereguleerde omgevingen.
• AI en legal operations: ondersteuning bij de implementatie van AI-tools, automatisering van juridische processen en begeleiding bij de praktische toepassing van nieuwe digitale oplossingen.
• Stakeholdermanagement: samenwerken met interne juridische teams, business stakeholders en externe adviseurs.
